In loving memory of Harley
Harley, also known as Little Bit, turned out to be one of our (NGAA) cats. He came to us as an owner surrender. Harley wasn’t in the best of shape when we got him. His long
black hair was severely matted and he was diabetic and older. One of our volunteers combed all the knots out of his matted fur and he began to blossom into the sleek black panther we grew to know and love.
Harley was adopted but it didn’t work out and after a month he came back to us. He required two insulin shots a day. He knew his routine. He would wait to get his shot then eat his food. When he felt bad he'd go find his “mom” to let her know. He was a very smart boy who loved everyone. Harley passed away April 30, 2017, after spending a year with us. It was our privilege to know him and love him.
